ViaCleaner 7.1 is the unique privacy protection software that
allows cleaning pc registry,
deleting
search history in a most
effective way eliminating all tracks of your Internet activity,
which are stored in log files on your computer. It keeps your computer
clean and completely protects you from information losses.
The main window of
this
internet washer is divided into two sections. Modules supported by the given
version of the pc-cleaner are displayed in the left section. The
right section is intended for setting up the elements that are to
be cleaned. The toolbar at the top of the window provides overall
software management.
Left Section: Modules Window
In this window users select the module that they want to set up for cleaning.
For your convenience all modules are divided into three parts: System & Office, Clean Disk and Other. ViaCleaner 7.1 supports the following modules:

for erasing all track activities and log information in Microsoft Windows

for erasing all track activities and log information in Microsoft Office

for erasing all track activities and log information in Microsoft Internet Explorer
Mozilla (New)

erasing all track activities and log information in Mozilla

for cleaning all free disk space (does not allow to restore information from deleted files)

deletes all temporary files created by various programs (*.tmp,*.bak,*.*~*,*.chk)

for erasing all track activities and log information by various popular programs. Currently, more than 88 programs are supported

for cleaning or deleting the files specified by user

for cleaning various user specified directories from different files (by mask)

allows moving files from one folder to another (e.g. your PGP disk). File moving can be done by creation date or last edition date
Clean Trojans (New)
- this module is to erase the most famous trojan viruses
ViaCleaner enables you to enable/disable cleaning of
specified modules by clicking on module icons. Modules
that have inactive (faded) icons are not included
into the cleaning process, while the modules with
active icons are.
The text of the module selected currently is marked
with blue color.
The right section is where the content of a specified
module from the left section is displayed.
The content of each module consists of a certain
number of setup items that can be included into or
omitted from the cleaning process.
Enabling/disabling cleaning of a particular program
is performed when the checkbox next to the set up
item is marked/unmarked.
ATTENTION: if the module if disabled (its icon in the
left section is faded) then all its set up items regardless
of their being enabled/disabled will not be included
into the cleaning process.
Set up dialogue is invoked by pressing the
Settings button.
In the setup dialogue user can set up ViaCleaner 7.1 according to his personal
preferences.
The following setup items are available to user:
- Launching the program in a normal size window (not maximized).
- Program tray icon display.
- Cleaning process window displaying.
- Automatic closing of the cleaning process window
on completion.
- Automatic launch of cleaning process when LogOff,
ShutDown.
- Automatic launch of the cleaning process blocking
the operating station (Win2K,WinNT,WinXP).
- Periodical launch of the cleaning process.
- The cleaning process launch by hot keys.
- User has a possibility delete all files with no
future possibility of restoring them.
Secure File Deletion is used for it.
- by pressing the Clean
button.
- by pressing the hot key set up for the Normal mode.
- drop-down menu by clicking the tray icon.
